SEND IN THE NUKE!!!

In Send In The Nuke, you play as a 23 year 7 month 18 day 24 minute 7 seconds 18 millisecond old astronaut in his dead end job where you extract materials from asteroids for an interstellar mining corporation.

One day your normal route around Galaxy-FX32123 is interrupted by a radio signal from the company forecast informing you of an asteroid storm in your area that will last around 5 days. During these five days, you encounter bizarre creatures that want to eat you.

You must survive the five days by harvesting materials from sorrounding asteroids, destroying bosses,  and exhanging their valuable monster cores for useful upgrades.

Controls

Admittedly, this game's tutorial is not well implemented. The first boss is too hectic to be teaching the basics, and the instructions are cast off to the side. If you would like a better experience with this game, it is recommended you read over these controls first.

Notes

This game was made for the 2024 Boss rush game jam, started 15 days into the jam. There are some bugs that made it through the cracks so please mind the dust :). If you encounter such bugs, a comment would be greatly appreciated, I hope you enjoy the little story I crafted up.
